The CORE series are a hybrid RFID reader modules that provide simple, consistent and flexible implementation on RFID technology into existing swipe card based ID equipment. With the addition of an antenna and capacitor to suit your specific needs.

 The CORE series are designed for use with the popular EM4001 format 125kHz tags. Read ranges of 25 cm are possible with ISO cards. With CMOS/TTL serial, Wiegand 26 & Magnetic ABA track 2 format, swipe cards can be emulated. Furthermore, the reader is encapsulated for environmental protection. The CORE-2 module requires an external antenna and is ideal for custom installations.

The CORE- 2, 12 & 20 Hybrid Series short range readers come in three different sizes and read ranges. All three readers support ASCII, Weigand 26 and Magnetic ABA track2 data
