100Mbps Ethernet Starter Kit, 4x serial, 32 digital I/Os, BASIC

The EM1202-EV is a100BaseT Ethernet to serial board based on the EM1202 Ethernet module. The board offers a convenient way to test the EM1202 and is also small enough to be used in production devices as a faster implementation alternative to modules.

Programmable in Tibbo BASIC, the EM1202-EV offers a low-cost, rapid development alternative to expensive and complex computing platforms, such as LINUX-based boards.

EM1202-EV Hardware Features

• Compact; PCB dimensions only 52.6 x 38 mm.
• On-board power regulator with 9-24V DC input range.
• One 100BaseT Ethernet port.
• Two status LEDs on top of the Board (connected in parallel with the LEDs on the RJ45 connector).
• Reliable reset with brown-out detection.
• Internal firmware is upgradeable through the serial port or network.
• CE- and FCC-approved.

BASIC Programmability

• Executes your own application written in Tibbo BASIC.
• Absolute flexibility; the EM1202-EV works as a miniature computing platform.
• Supplied with TIDE -- a comprehensive development environment featuring seamless cross-debugging.
• Integrated web server (HTTP) with dynamic content generation.
• Numerous high-level objects speed up and simplify coding. Available objects include:
  • sock -- up to 16 simultaneous TCP or UDP connections
  • ser -- UART communications
  • io -- control serial port lines
  • stor -- read to and write from the EEPROM
  • romfile -- add static (ROM) data to your project
  • Plus objects sys, net, button, pat, beep, rtc, and fdisk

Starter kit comes complete with serial cables, ethernet cable and a  power supply (please specify UK or EU).
