IDBlue.HF acts as tag data collector for 13.56MHz RFID tags. Its simple, one-button, switch on / read tags / connect interface and its pen shape make it easy to use; reading tags at typically 2 to 4cm. ID Blue can hold up to 1000 time-stamped tag readings before it off loads them over Bluetooth. It has a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that gives a full day's operation. 

Alternatively - and here is where the IDBlue is really new - the pen can be used interactively with a hand-held, smart phone or tablet application. Use the IDBlue.HF as a stylus for touch screens; then use the reader to capture identification data from an RFID tag, send it to the smart phone or tablet application and use the data immediately.

Now any Bluetooth equipped smart phone, tablet, handheld or laptop can be RFID enabled. IDBlue works with Apple i-Phone and iPad devices as well as with Windows compatible devices.
