In Nordic ID PL3000 flexibility has been taken to the extreme. Together the powerful processor and efficient operating system of the PL3000 enables you to use data in any way you want.
The PL-series handhelds are advanced Windows CE* based mobile computers. The versatile system allows various sw-solutions, web browsing, terminal emulation and different client solutions, both batch and realtime.
The Nordic ID PL3000 will fit every kind of use. There are many varities from which to choose. These handhelds are especially suitable for logistics and services but there are also customers using these products in for example retail sector.
Communications
With the PL3000 you can use different communication technologies depending which is best for your environment and use. You can use WLAN or Bluetooth in local networks and GPRS or GSM for remote use.
Data Collection
In addition to the RFID reader, the PL3000 can be equipped with barcode and 2D code readers. All the functionalities are integrated into a highly ergonomic and user friendly mobile instrument.
The same system can include barcodes and RFID tags. The device can read both as well as write on tags allowing you to transfer information from barcode to RFID tag conveniently on site.
New standards can be added by remotely managed software updates, which ensure support for the future and secures the investment by extending the product’s life-cycle. At the moment our product range includes UHF and HF RFID, but it is also possible to have PL3000 without RFID reader.
A programming package isavailable to help system partners develop software applications for the PL3000.
