The RT 100 is a convenient hand-held RFID tag scanner for low frequency (125kHz) tags, including FDX-B tags, used for tagging domestic and agricultural animals. It is popular with veterinarians. It is compact but has excellent performance with a scanning distance of 5 to 8cm depending on the tag in use and its orientation towards the scanner.

RT100 can show tag identities on its 2 line displayy and can store up to 1000 tag identities for later transmission to a host system. Connection is possible over either USB or Bluetooth connection.
