Astra ThingMagic’s integrated UHF RFID reader, offers an enterprise level, high performance yet low cost EPCglobal Gen2 RFID solution. Astra is ideal for commercial and enterprise environments that require unobtrusive deployments with a minimum of cabling, readers and antennas. Fully supporting ThingMagic’s MercuryOS software, astra includes network management and security features, such as DHCP for configuration and firmware management, and SSL/SSH-based security. Astra supports power over Ethernet (POE), or when AC-powered, optionally supports Wi-Fi backhaul.
