This Wide Range antenna has been developed to be used in classic far field applications. These antennas are characterised by a very low axial ratio of circular polarisation, so that the dependence of the reading results of position and orientation of the tags is significantly reduced. They are suitable in a wide variety of applications and an ideal solution for portal applications.

IP67 rated with options for wall and pole mounting make it ideal for outdoor far field use. Using Kathrein's KRAI interface the antenna can be switched between dynamic and static polarisation (circular LHCP/circular RHCP/ linear horizontal/linear vertical)
